The Court opened with the Honorable William R. Mitchell giving the invocation; the following proceedings were had:

4. CONSIDER AND ACT UPON SELECTING NOMINEES FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF UVALDE COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT:
The Court was informed that they have the opportunity to nominate two people to serve as members of the Board of Directors of the Uvalde County Appraisal District. Nominations will be made by each of the member entities and votes will be cast by the entity per the number of votes allowed by the voting process.

The Court unanimously nominated the following three persons to serve as members of the Board of Directors of Uvalde County Appraisal District. These individuals plus other nominees will be voted upon by each participating taxing entity within the Appraisal District at a later date.

CONSIDER AND ACT UPON

The Court unanimously adopted a policy concerning pets within Uvalde County Parks. Said policy states that all pets in county parks shall be on a six-foot leash or inside of a vehicle; pets will not be allowed in restroom facilities, pavilions or park shelters; pet owners will be responsible for keeping animals from creating a nuisance, which includes barking. Persons in violation of this policy shall be removed from the park grounds.
6. CONSIDER AND ACT UPON ENACTING A BAN ON OUTDOOR BURNING:
Due to recent rains, no action was taken under this agenda item.
7. CONSIDER AND ACT UPON ROAD ADMINISTRATORS REPORT:
Road Administrator Wayne Everett gave the following activity report, with no action being taken.

8. CONSIDER AND ACT UPON LINE ITEM BUDGET AMENDMENTS:
None were presented to the Court for approval.
